In my opinion, when we are in an international war against terrorism, we need to maintain friendly relations with as many possible nations as we can. I think that McCain's careless dismissal of Spain's Prime Minister was a terrifying foreshadowing of what McCain's foreign policy will entail.
As for his official statement, McCain seems to be dodging the topic by giving out a blanket answer. He seems to skirt around the issue of his planned relations with Spain, as if he doesn't want to break the news to them. But if he is being honest in his statement, that is even more horrifying by far. If he is being as honest as he says, he is completely oblivious of US relations with nations such as Spain, as well as not fully understanding America's "situations and priorities". Shouldn't he know those by now? He has little more than two months left till election time, and yet here he stands, saying that he doesn't know where he stands on our relationship with another nation. Can you say "unprepared disaster"?

hmmmm, I am not sure what to think.... it was dry and boring, and hard to read because of its dryness. and I really hated it. it sucked. sorry, but thats all I can think of to say about it... look, dun take this in a bad way. I am just not into crap like this...
If McCain holds the same, or similar views as Bush, then why would he alter his views on the Spanish government? Clearly they find that something is flawed with Mr. Zapatero. And if our government only helps those who can later help the Americans, then why would we change our system after this long, just to be nice to our Spanish amigos? You can't blame McCain for doing what's been happening for decades.
McCain's mistake was truly in the face of his so called "experienced." He refers to Spain like it is just a juvenile Latin American State. He showed his ignorance when he spoke badly. If McCain wants to recovers from this error, he needs to state his policy/relationship with Spain clearly. Not this foggy ingnorance bullshit.

Soo, I gathered that the Spanish Prime Minister wants to be in photo and in the White House with Bush and that McCain basically dissed the PM in front of the press. Why is this dude valued as too dangerous or undesirable or whatever to be invited to the White House or have the promise of a 'good' future relationship with the US? Honestly, I feel like a complete idiot that I have no idea whats going on between them or what has happened in the past---for this particular assignment anyway. But I really don't mind not knowing what happened between the US and Spain, because it doesn't realate to me and my life directly. Everything in government is so messed up that I'd rather not get caught up in it. No offence at all, this was not written in contempt, disrespect, or sarcasm. I will offer any conclusion I can gather from given articles and try my best to provide an opinion, but I have enough going on personally and Zapatero's personal connections aren't necissarily my business. So there's my comment on your blog, V. Sorry it's not impressive, but I feel it is expressive as to my thoughts on the subject.

McCain says it's not going to get any better, so that means it's going to get worse. McCainmight start fights with our alliances which is bad because when McCain decides to bomb other countries we won't have any alliances for them to have die for our freedom.
